Dunk Island
Sadly, the resort at Dunk Island is closed due to damage during Cyclone Yasi. But boat people and campers can still go ashore and walk through rainforest. It really is very pretty. Amazingly, hot water showers are provided for campers and boaties Matey was very pleased to be able to wash hair! Apart from a few other boats, campers and day visitors, we almost had the island to ourselves.
