Hey Col - this pic is for you ...
Today
we had blue skies, sunshine and lighter winds so we visited Moreton Island for
a swim and then made our way to a small anchorage at Peel Island for the night.
There are only two other boats here so it’s very peaceful so far and a welcome
change from the burbs of Brisbane. This will be the first time we have tested the
anchor and chain overnight, so hopefully we’ll still be here in the morning. Chris
was at the helm for much of the day honing his expertise in sailing (among
other things).
There
was almost a real disaster today as Matey’s beloved Mac somehow was not
properly stowed. An almighty crash was heard and it was on the floor, having
fallen about a metre. A distraught Matey tenderly picked it up and coaxed it to
life, and gratefully discovered it appeared to be ok - just an injured top. Thank
you, God of Apples, for your bounty in preserving the life of Matey’s Mac!

Oh dear! Matey!
You've got to get the iPad happening! It comes with a protective cover that allows it to be protected from all the little bodies I work with, so should be a breeze on the boat (pardon the pun!). The APPS are fun too!
You might need to invest in one as it will change your life. Light, small and frequently very very convenient!
Go Matey! Middle Cuz!
Hey there Middle Cuz - Matey has contemplated the iPad option (actually she has tried to talk the Captain into getting one - good navigation app apparently - something for Matey to keep working on ;)
Matey loves her MacBook Pro too much ...
Chris says....Had a great few days checking the yacht out!! Found out the next day that instead of trying to hone my sailing skills, I could have just put the steering wheel onto auto pilot, logged in the way points, and the sattelite would have done it perfectly for me!!!
T.C. is absolutely looking the goods and we look forward to the next adverted disaster!!!!!!!
Averted disaster!!!!!!!! Well, that too!!
